For my "hand texture", I find the Neutron has better grip in the rain than Proton. When dry, they're both fine. I've never used their soft putters, but that's personal preference because I use a push putt and like hard putters. Also, I like Neutron better for driving and Proton better for putting. Not sure entirely why.
