About the good rip, I don't think you should really ever be trying to rip a putter, it may be your actual grip on the disc or grip strength or something else in my opinion.

Thank you everyone for the input. Much appreciated I have been experimenting with my grip and have found that a loose modified birdie/split grip seems to work for me. But I am really not 100% on this style. It seems to give me a little more freedom because I have short and chubby fingers
