You take are really long x-step putting you off balance behind your rear foot, so everything is tipping over instead of braced and balanced inside the rear foot moving you forward. You end getting stuck with your weight still back on the rear foot when you plant, and swinging early before your heel/weight plants. Need your weight to lead the swing, so all weight shifts to front foot/leg with closed shoulder, then swing.
