Default Old(er) dudes....what if?

JohnE McCray (1024 rated master), Ken Climo (1024 rated master) and other older high rated masters, grandmasters (Ron Convers 999 rated), etc, etc. For these old(er) dudes who still have current high ratings in today's competitive pdga tournament trail, I'm starting to think that if they were 15-20 years younger and throwing today's improved plastic they would have no problem beating the top players of today. 27 year old JohnE going up against a 27 year old McBeth. I'd have to go with 27 year old McCray hands down.

Am I flat out wrong or do you agree?
