I do 2 practice run ups. One at a walking pace that could easily be mistaken for walking to the front of the tee pad, then the second one that is my arm motion. I try to get the steps down before I actually commit to the throw. I figure if my steps are correct then everything else will fall into place atleast somewhat. Bad steps = bad throw for me. I do visualize the line I'm going to take.
