TI is the best course I've played in Canada, but I really wish it was in a secluded/limited access area. The island is really cool with lots of stuff to see, but as a consequence, there are a lot of people roaming around, most of whom are clueless to the course being there at all. Very cool course though with 2 tees and 2 pins on each hole, well manicured, water hazards, and great scenery. It was definitely the high point of my visit to Toronto, even though I donated a disc to the lake and played the last holes in a torrential downpour.

On the page for TI it says that Climo lists it as one of his favorites. Just wondering if it was a list he gave during an interview or is he a member here and has it listed as a fav?

Toronto Island is the only Canadian course I've played, but it was definitely unique and fun. The only downside was the baskets were pretty old school and there was trash like everywhere.
Huge plus side - Amsterdam Brewery is just a few blocks from the ferry on the mainland.

Default Québec courses

We have nothing matching HillCrest..yet. We do have 3 courses that stand out.

-Camp Fortune in the Gatineau/Ottawa region for the mountain experience and difficulty.

-St-Bernard de Lacolle, on the border of Vermont, a forest and open spaces course. Very well maintained course with amenities.

-Voltigeur Park in Drummondville, the best park set-up I have seen yet with long holes and not too many people.

The last two designed by local legends: Michel St-Pierre and Peter Lizotte

I haven't played Hillcrest, but I've played Toronto Island, which I would personally put behind Canmore Nordic.

Really depends on how you judge "Best". I love the location and scenery of Canmore Nordic, plus as an average MA2 player, it's an awesome challenge.
