Good timing on the necro-bump, as I just bought a Star TL with tournament winnings this weekend. Looking for that sweet, laser-straight spot between my beefy Teebirds and my flippy Leopards. I have a TL3 but I find I have to really whip it hard to get a straight flight and I'm hoping the regular TL is a little easier to finesse.

And for some reason, FD's just haven't worked for me. Have an S-line and G-line and have never clicked with them. I'll report back after some testing.

I like the TL for straight fairway - I also like the Legacy Patriot - if you find the right patriot (My recommendation would be an early run Pinnacle, they fly like 8/5/-0.5/1.5 - fly really nice straight lines. But yeah Star TL is a great disc.

Came to say something similar. Both of those discs fly similar lines before they beat in.
