Replacing 27 Mach 3 baskets, looking for you top 3 recommendations. Also does anyone know what the outside pole diameter is on the Disc Catcher Pro? DGA Mach 7 and Mach X pole will fit the existing sleeves.

Glancing at the spec sheets it looks like the poles and sleeves are the same dimensions on the different Mach baskets.

Unless you have the Mach II? I always thought the Mach II had a wider pole so as to make it harder to use a basket not rated for outside always use as a permanent install, but I could be wrong. This makes it so though DGA you have to use the Mach III or higher for Install not just for better durability but so DGA makes more $$$ as well.

DGA sleeves changed at some point near the turn of the century.

Currently Mach III's. From what I can find all the currently made basket will fit those sleeves. I could be wrong, it's happened before.

If you know when the Mach III baskets went in, you could help people out.

1990. After doing research it appears all the leading basket manufacturers' baskets will fit the sleeves. Current sleeves have an inside diameter of 2 1/32 inches or 5.159 CM. What would be peoples opinions be on the top 3 baskets to install?

You’ve already got the best basket around, Mach III with worn out chains. Only way it gets better is if you have a steep downhill with hazard/OB behind each basket.

Mach V/IV, Mach III but not Mach X as those who use the pole as an aiming spot have a harder time with the Mach X.

If any parts besides the cage are worth saving on the old baskets like the tops tell who owns the course to save them for emergency repairs.

How about Disc catchers Pro, Prodigy T3, Chainstar Pros, Dymanic Discs Veteran, etc.
