that is good to hear. I've always liked Nate Doss, and looks like simons playing without the knee brace so that's good.
Rebecca is from Cincinnati. She has been playing since she was young, her dad is a really good player also. Started playing tourneys in 2007 according to her page. I remember the first time I saw her play, she was still in high school and rated 900ish and could throw 325 at least. She took a couple years off playing while in college and started touring last year.

I enjoyed the live coverage immensely. Terry & Robert are a great commentary team. I would like to hear a bit less random banter, seemed like a rush to keep from having dead silence. I would suggest occasionally just showing the scores while the action plays out live for a while. I have to admit 3 rounds at the Country Club may get a little repetitive and the only real major separation will be who makes the longest putts. I predict a pile up finish on Saturday with several people in a play off to decide the winner.

My only observation about the broadcast, If you guys could show the top 10 scores before or after each hole is played, that would be ideal.

Tournaments have their champions sign stuff all the time. Usually something with the tournament logo/stamp on it, which is never guaranteed to be the champ's company. No one really kicks up a fuss.

There's also stuff like this...

Those are Rocs. Since it commemorates the win rather than endorses the disc, I doubt Discraft or Prodigy are bothered by it.

Golf course tourney courses are the worse for viewing. They look really boring. I get that they are easier for galleries but man do they look crappy.

Unfortunately it's not going away either. 1600 people playing in Emporia this week. DD is becoming big in the game, and they seem to be pushing for more length. "Tiger proofing" golf courses had a negative effect on the golf, hopefully this doesn't get a similar result for disc.

I don't think that tournaments on golf courses are so much about galleries, as they are about the only place in many locales that a 10,000 ft layout that the top players demand can be set up. Most average joe disc golfers don't want such a demanding track for everyday play, so permanent tracks that long are a rarity.

I would prefer the live stream not tell me the FPO scores, or at least warn me that they are about to spoil it. I was looking forward to the CCDG coverage. Ii'll still watch it but now it's just academic.
