Respectfully disagree that with Innova his rating would the same.

They are making discs exactly how he likes them.

Now, it isn't a huge difference, but it can't be discounted.

Paul: Make this one just like the Thunderbird, make that one like the Destroyer and this one right here JUST like the Aviar.

Discraft: You got it, Paul!

Dude is the GOAT. Whatever Discraft paid him, they got a bargain. They are lucky to have him and so is the sport of disc golf. Whatever the current perception is about disc golf and disc golfers amongst the general populace, to have this clean cut dude/ideal role model that can seemingly do no wrong become the "face" of disc golf will help define and shape that perception going forward and will do wonders to "grow the sport".

In short, P McB is a force that will help a societal paradigm shift that helps to propel disc golf into the mainstream...well...he certainly can't hurt. Maybe one day...

P McB isn't the hero disc golf deserves.
P McB is the hero disc golf needs.

Kind of like how Tiger changed ball golf from a game for old white men to something with some real popularity.

Let’s not discount Ricky, Eagle, and Simon either as all of these dudes are doing some insane stuff on the course and cool stuff off the course as well.

Says the guy (formerly?) sponsored by Discraft.

No disputing Paul's happy with his Discraft discs, but he'd be putting up these kinds of ratings throwing any brand's plastic. He's just that good a player.

FTFY. Trilogy plastic can't hold up to the Beast!
