Unfortunately I'm working 8a-10p Thursday and Friday this week. I'm down for that gameplan on Saturday though.

Last weekend before I'm on the road to WA and OR. Best of luck on your rounds. Last time I played a course on vacation I got an ace, my only ace. Maybe I'll be so lucky on this trip.

I'm not in SW OH but in Louisville. If you guys haven't checked out the new Shelbyville, KY course (Red Orchard), it's awesome. Quite technical and not a typical "birdie fest". Next big mowing is 9/22, so I'd plan on playing after that. If anyone is interested, I'd love to join up with 'em for a round!

I have a friend in Louisville. We're planning on playing in October. Might have to check out that course. I'm partial to Sevrin Lang myself.

Seviren is nice and scenic. Have you played Wendell Moore in Buckner (just off 71 near LaGrange)? It's a lot like Seviren...but better.

Honestly, Shelbyville is the closest course we have to one being like those on the DGPT. (Of course there's Idlewild but that's an aberration, lol.) Lots of risk, placement shots, and very technical. VERY few 2s available.

Let me know in advance when you guys are coming down and we can hook up for a round or two. BTW, I love the courses up there, my brother (who plays but not tourneys) lives in Hebron, not too far from Idlewild. He used to live 2 mins from Banklick...lucky dog!

Should be a nice weekend. Hopefully we can get a round in somewhere.

Played Harbin yesterday and was a few inches from getting an ace on #14. It skipped off the nubs and hit the chains just left of center then fell to the ground. Was still a nice looking shot.
