Now that I've gotten a look at the wing and the flight, I'm really anticipating this release. Hoping they start OS enough to handle wind duties, it'd be nice to be able cover all my distance shots with Gryms/Xs.

Well, I have the Grym, and for me, it is more over-stable than the a Destroyer or Outlaw(I own all 3). 1 out of 5 throws I would bomb it, the rest of the time I was shanking it off in the woods somewhere. I doubt that I will even try this one out if it is more OS.

For the ones who have used both, what are your feelings on the Grym X vs embossed Star Destroyers? Been testing them for a couple of rounds and I really like both, but they fill the same spot. On the one hand the K1 plastic feels way better than Star, but I have a mix of old PM and embossed Destroyers so guess they would cover a wider spectrum of lines. My game suffers from having too many molds so would like to stick with just one of them.

Just looking for any thoughts that may make the choice a little easier.

So, is there a huge flight difference between the 2016 glow and the 2017 glow? I am looking for something that is more stable than my K1s without getting a different mold.

I have decided to stick with the Destroyers for now. The Grym X (somewhat pop top) is just too understable to trust as main distance driver. It's got more turn and less fade than the numbers indicate, which is too bad becouse it feels great both to grip and throw
Good distance if the field is open and wind is down

Got my first ever ace with the Grym X last month so I guess I’ll have to keep throwing them now. They feel so much better in the hand than destroyers. Ordered a Rask to deal with the headwinds.
