There can be some ugly swirly discs out there. It is funny how we got so picky, so quickly though. Only a couple years ago, people would be jacked to see ANY color variance in a disc. Now the industry has really dialed in the swirl process.

Strong winds overnight took down a few large trees, one of which nailed a basket on my local course.

That happened to one basket, nearly 2, after some crazy storms at my local course last year. Mangled the cage too. They cobbled it back together and it's in decent shape now.

Wow. Everytime I see a picture like that it makes me happy that our club managed to raise enough money this year to buy a practice basket for our local course. Now if a basket get smushed like that we can just replace it with the practice basket and keep the regular course going while we raise funds for a replacement.

We do have a practice basket which I will probably swap out with the damaged one. I have a call in with a friend that has a scrap metal business to see if he can fix the basket.

We've had that happen more than once. That damaged basket should be able to be repaired no problem. Looks like everything is just bent, not broken.
