+1 for the shryke camp...

Just recently got a max weight champion one and while it is still fresh in the way it flies, the distance potential is very visible. Even on pure hyzers, it just glides a little farther. And my experience is all fresh out of the box. Beaten in or in a flippy plastic it would absolutely crush in open space.

I have had really good results with the lightweight Pro Shrykes. They really bomb for me. Haven't tried a Star Shryke in a low weight, but Star is normally more overstable than Pro, and I would not expect differently for the Shryke.

Also, for the OP: the Infinite Discs Pharaoh is very close to a Shryke, and I like the I-blend Pharaohs. So you might give the Pharaoh a try...

What are the supposed factory ratings for the Pharaoh? And what is the closest plastic to Star/Fuzion/ESP?

Added a poll for your longest bombing disc(s). Select as many as you like. If other please list!

The Pharaoh flight numbers are 13,6,-1,2, but Infinite says some runs may be more like 13,6,-2,2. Innova makes the Infinite line of discs, so S-blend literally is Star, C-Blend is Champion, and I-blend is something like Pro (but better, IMHO).

I probably have a dozen Sheriffs. All over the spectrum on stability. Lucid Sheriffs tend to do well on flat releases. I'll get turn on them, but they always come back.

Some of the fuzion or biofuzion Sheriffs are way too flippy to be thrown flat.

As for the initial poll, I'd choose the Shryke as my #1 bomber disc. Tern is #2. Star Terns are absolutely no joke. I'm not talking accuracy or consistency. I'm going off sheer distance potential.

It took me a while to dial in the Shryke too. I was all over the place with it at first. The Raider I loved immediately. I throw it flat and it has a very tight, long S curve flight without a dumpy fade. The Raider is also surprisingly long. Not quite as long as a Shryke, but close.

The Shryke occupies the understable, super bomber slot in my bag. I don't even pull it out a ton, but when I do that disc never disappoints. On the course I haven't found anything that will touch a Shryke for sheer hyzerflip distance.

Shryke is in the lead!

Still looking for a good stamp color combo! I really like the Shryke XXL stamps!
