One of the locals that I play with occasionally, bags a PP Ti Stalker and it flys like a thing of beauty. I have thrown his in a field, and for the stability it has, it has a lot of glide. It is seasoned but no cuts or chunks taken out.

The one Z Stalker that I have thrown, was a turd.

Edit:
The Z may have been a Tracker... that was 3 years ago or so. I may be mis-remembering the Z. The Ti was just a few weeks ago

They really need to resurrect the Stalker. I used to love this disc. Sadly I sold my special dyed one years ago as well as a glow stalker. Regret......

I’m a big mid/putter thrower. Very frequently pulling a Ghost/Wizard when others are throwing high speed stuff. It’s not because I throw really far, it’s just more comfortable and repeatable for me.

So the big appeal of the Stalker is fairway distance with midrange feel. Yesterday I threw my Glo Stalker 350 on a frozen rope in decent wind. But it’s definitely not for everyone because of the goofy beaded feel.

I see that the value has bumped a tiny bit, the Ti’s and Glo’s are getting a few bucks more nowadays but nothing crazy. They’re just harder to find.

I did too, back in 2017 when I was looking for a replacement for the Z XL as that plastic for the XL was not avalible and I needed a similar disc as mine had gotten flippy for me. Well the Z Stalker flies the way the old ESP XL (yes I have one in my bag that was newer then the Z XL being that the ESP XL came out later) but without the hard fade and hook at the end.

I was bothered when I found out they weren't going to make Glo Z Stalkers anymore. I've seen some Z's online with flight #'s so they've made a recent run.

I've been having a hard time finding max weight (177g+) ones though.

I would then just try the next down weight if they have it, not every disc needs to be Max weight to play disc golf.

Or He wants the Max weight due to how the disc flies at that weight for him in Z, like he needs a minimum of 177 grams to have the disc fly at the right stability for his power or good form. Just a thought, maybe the Z Stalker is not being made in 177+ grams much for a good reason?
