Im thinking about the whole body of work over time. The analogy is Dan Marino...never won a superbowl but still played the position at the highest of levels for a long time.

Sure. It puts him right up there with immortals like Justin Jernigan, Tony Wilson, and Thor Holoch.

Caveat... I have no idea really... Just asking
He's not. But he is a top 5 physical talent.

Greatness is achieved between the ears.

I see where you're going, but I think Uli needs a few more years on tour (and/or a major) before he cracks any top 10 lists. If anyone deserves top 10 consideration for longevity without major titles, I'd argue Stokely has a better case. He was touring when few others were, and I think he lacks a major title on his resume only because for the bulk of his prime there was only one available to win and he had the misfortune of having to beat prime Climo in order to get it. I think if the 1990s had 3-4 majors a year to win like we do now, Stokely would have won a couple.

Didn't realize it had to be the "right" major to be given recognition, sorry...

Going to have to bump a couple of these off for Juliana Korver and Val Jenkins.

Edit: I mean bump them off the list, not murder them

You are correct, but I only have the knowledge and experience that I have. I would have watched all the old videos of less recent players, and I have watched what is available, but there just isnt nearly as much out there.
