Default Do you ever consider ditching innova and going all discraft?

I know discraft aren't 100% consistent but I wont have to deal with searching for the rarities that I like from innova.... 11x, 10x, with flight numbers and without flight numbers and all that jazz.. It seems like discraft there are first runs and then there are production.

For me its getting old to hunt down everything I really like. I have tons of discs that I just can't justify throwing because they've cost me $40 to buy and to lose would mean I spend another $60 to replace it a year later.

Anyone else share this frustration?

Innova= Collector's / Discraft=Throwers

No need to really just pick one brand unless your looking to get sponsored.
If your tired of spending all that money just buy production disc.

This is what it seems like to me after being on these forums for a bit now. I never realized it to the extent it is, but just watching the market place made me realize that innova is way less consistent.

I never see threads with people looking for "early doss surge" or something like that.. I wouldn't totally ditch innova, but its frustrating to have the production discs change a bit every few runs.

I feel like its either buy 10 of something at a time or hunt down what I need later.

All that matters is how the disc flies. Outside of that it doesn't matter what name is stamped on it, who makes it, what color, even what plastic. It doesn't even matter if the disc flies differently than any other disc of that same mold so long as I am happy with the one I am throwing right now.

No. When I threw Rocs I went into a store and bought regular DX and KC Pros. They worked fine.

When I threw TB's I threw a production star and dx, they did me alright.

I throw OLF's now and I throw Q and S, 1.1 and 1.2. They all get the job done.

I think people that hate innova and only throw discraft for consistency reasons are really funny though. Both companies have their consistency issues.

I did this winter due to sponsorship, and I'll be honest, I was nervous. I know I can throw anything, but I'd spent 10 years with mostly Innova in the bag. Having made the switch I can honestly say it's been a very easy and smooth transition. The only disc I'll miss from time to time is the Champ Shark, which I believe is OOP.

That being said, I have a **** ton of factory hand-picked Innova ready for sale this winter!

1st run buzzz, 2nd run buzzz, 2nd first run buzzz, midnight buzzz,

old stamped challengers

4 chain magnets

etc., not to mention special dynamic disc plastic releases and whatnot. if you know what to look for in discs it is easy to get a consistent product. I like my rocs stiff and slightly domey. I buy stiff and slightly domey rocs.

i like my gazelles stiff and with average PLHs and dome. so i buy those ones. I like my predators flat. I buy the flat ones.
