Default Anybody here throw a Raven?

The Viper just got brought up. I'm also thinking about playing older molds until I can get my D up. The Raven looks like a good compliment to the Viper. Any thoughts?

raven was a re-tooled less stable viper... never gained much popularity-smaller diameter stuff started coming out relatively soon afterwards. they were part of the "great disc golf holes of the world" sets from years ago- those are probably worth some decent $.

i think i've got one or 2 but would have to check.

I won one of those "great holes" discs. It's a Roc with, what is now, hole 27 at De La.

The Raven, ah, well...oh, I can't avoid it. It sucks. There, I said it. It's slow, it's not stable enough to fight off any wind, not understable enough to kick in some nice glide. It's just entirely worthless. If I was going to go back to a slower driver, I'd go with a small diameter driver like a Cheetah or Gazelle.

FINALLY...i guess you werent getting any arguments when complimenting a disc and giving its life story so now youre just goin for the blunt, "it sucks" or "its awesome" lol.....jk had to give you a hard time....i actually found one of these the other day while skimming a pond for a friends lost disc and had never even heard of it...this disc is pretty light and beat to hell and back, prolly the worst beat in disc i have ever seen....my big question is, would it make a good roller or no?

A beat Raven makes a pretty good roller. There is no reason to throw one enough for it to get beat, but if you found one that way it would be an OK roller.
