Default This hurts!!! Is there something wrong with my grip?

So I have been throwing ALOT lately. And today I tore off a huge chunk of skin off my middle finger it's from my fan/putting grip. My middle finger crosses the edge into the middle of the flight plate, and it the edge of the disc is what's doing the damage, it's at the very bottom of my finger, right where the disc rests, and now I can't putt.

Is this wrong? Am I gripping wrong?

I already had a blister on the top of my pointer finger from forehand, that's callus now. I just want to know if this is normal, or if I'm gripping wrong.

Can you post a pic of your grip? Would be easier to visualize your grip

I had a chunk of skin rip off once randomly, without having a blister or anything before. I'm told it happens when its really dry out, which it was for me.

Ok that helps. I've been working really hard, and it would suck if all this time I was doing it wrong. It doesn't seem that proper form would hurt you, but I guess it makes sense, need to take better care of my hands I guess. This sucks. I put on some band aids, and I can still putt, but my approach hurts like hell.

If you have a blister that calluses over the layers of skin often separate and you lose the outer layers where the callus is. Don't stress about your grip it's probably just becuase that skin isn't used to all the wear your giving it recently.

I used to spend hours in The batting cages and never was a glove guy so you get tons of dry blistered areas. skin tears, blisters heal, your grip looks fine.
