They did a great job having all those stats in there for distances/wind. The first couple discs I was just thinking "oh cool, that's the ranges I like my Zones and mids in"...then one of the Buzzzes is thrown 400' with a 15MPH crosswind...nope. Then a Predator 410' on hyzer, that just doesn't make sense.

I have no doubt that he is. He's a savvy businessman/promoter, and he's aware that he will benefit from his throwing his discs. (As a side note, this ITB is the most blatant marketing ITB I've seen.) Nevertheless, does anyone really think he's willing to throw a disc that will make it more difficult for him to win? The reason I mention the Buzzz is that all his Buzzz shots in WACO were pretty impressive. He doesn't seem to be missing the Roc3 or Mako at this point. The Wasp doesn't get quite as much air time as AI expected, and he seems to be using the Drone a bit less too. Time will tell, as it's tough to say this early in the season.

He's gone the way of the masses. Why use a finesse approach shot when you can use an OS approach disc like the Zone? To be fair, he throws those Lunas on some approaches, and wasn't he throwing a Roach at some point?

Its a great disc for precision sidearms or backhands when you don't want the disc to glide. It is very steerable.

I personally haven't ever liked the Pred.
the Flick has been a staple in my bag since they came out. evidently a lot of people don't know that the 150 class is made with tweak that makes them much OS than the heavier runs. they used to be marketed "High Performance" models and is the the only disc i have ever used that is a true +1 stability. the only difficult thing for me is to remember to really hammer down on it to get it to go 200' max and then it just digs, stands and flops over about 5' from where it landed. extremely useful as a utility disc.

I agree, the flick is a one of a kind Disc that is very useful. I remember when Paul was trying drivers out, he threw the nuke OS and said it could potentially be useful for high winds, but also admitted he doesn’t like the super wide rim on any of the nuke variants.

Seems like he’s relying on his first run Z forces for that super OS slot for now.

I've posted it many times, but I was hoping so bad for a sig McFlick! I even ordered one from Foundation when they were doing the promotion so that there would be at least one Flick with a Mcbeth signature on it
