Default I'm working in DC this week

I'm working a mile South of The White House this week. Is there anywhere within walking distance that you can toss some plastic?
The Mall is not an option. I asked Secret Service.

IIRC: nothing within walking distance, but...

You can take the Metro out towards College Park and walk to Calvert Road Park in Maryland. It's a flat, basic, but reasonably solid 18 holes.

Bluemont in VA isn't terribly far, but not as accessible by the Metro.

Unless you want to Uber/Lyft, Calvert Road might be your only option, and you have to take the Metro.

That was my guess. Thanks for the info.

Lift or ride share to Seneca. Or find a local FB group and ask for a ride out. Great course, 27 holes, lots of variety.

Bogey is right - there is a dearth of disc golf courses inside the DC beltway.

If you like rolling hills and woods golf, Seneca Creek should be right up your alley. Three 9-hole loops, each ending at the parking lot. Probably takes about 2:30 to spin all three loops if you keep moving. And the port-a-pot is back for the summer.

Seneca Creek is 9 miles drive from the Shady Grove Metro station.

I work not far from Seneca Creek. If you decide to play there and would like a guide, shoot me a PM and we can see if our schedules align.
