Yep, my Warriors don't turn into a wind unless I strong arm them or put some body english on them. They definitely fight the wind much better than a Roc.

You could've also hit a strange gust. I've had discs flip out of nowhere on me then seconds later feel the gust hit me.

I've owned 6 Warriors. On of them (pink 178 S) was absolutely fantastic: never any turn, straight with decent glide and then reliable strong fade even after being in the bag a couple months. Then I had two 173g Fossil Warriors with some turn out of the box. I asked for 2 max weight Fossil and instead got 2 176g Fossil. They didn't have turn immediately, but developed a little within a couple rounds. Then I had another heavy S Warrior (orange, can't remember the exact weight but I think 180) which also had some turn out of the box (and much less fade than the others for some reason). This is really why I gave up on Warriors. After buying 6 of them, I only had 1 I could keep in the overstable mid slot for more than a couple weeks. For me, a disc with this much fade can only go in the overstable mid slot and I don't want any turn out of the disc in that slot. The Warriors that developed turn would turn even more when thrown into a headwind as well.

I been throwing a soft warrior around and really liking it. The plastic is hard and disc is flat. I am curious what the discs do as they break in, so I came here to find out. If I break in a warrior in a soft or super soft blend what will it fly like?

Like how Fossil wears above. My “max weight” Fossil, SGS, Soft all started turning pretty fast. I really liked everything else about the Warrior, if only it aged like a Roc..

So I picked up an Evo Diamond Warrior, just to feel up some new plastic.

It's nice, but it seems to be lacking the curved inner rim that my other Warriors have.

It's weird.

Update: Diamond Warrior flies like both of my flat S Warriors. I feel like I lucked out on my S Warriors going by this thread. They're both flat, OS, and durable. I haven't even used the second, the first one has barely changed since I got it four years ago.

Anyway. The Diamond's profile matches the S perfectly. Very slight dome, great plastic. Flies exactly the same. Still weird that it lacks the curved rim. Did they change the mold?

They changed the mold.
I have an older evo blend that’s almost rubbery with the slanted rim.
The new diamond run is money though.
