The Evo could be good for throwing but I prefer a lower profile. This disc has such a high shoulder it feels like a completely different disc than any other wizard I’ve grabbed. As far as putting I described it when it was new as putting with a super ball. It is star like plastic but very bouncy and rubbery. I wondered how it might break in but I dont know if I would get to that point of use with it.
High shoulders on Wizards feel weird, and are not my preference for putting, but they usually mean a more OS throwing Wizard, IME.

They break in ok, the dome falls, they get nicely grippy. But "super ball" is a good descriptor for the feel.

This is a perfect statement. Also every reason I love the PWP. not really digging the Diamond but trying to give it a chance so I have a stable thrower that doesn't need rotating.

I wouldn't call any Gateway plastic a waste. Sounds like you bought a super straight approach disc. If you're looking for a putter to putt with just stick with the flex you know you like also you can try out the $$$$ blend if you like softer or the super stupid silly soft. They have plenty of options and they are running good premium plastic these daus also.
