Got this good looking Aviar3 today. This mold feels great in my hand. Really impressed. It feels so different than my Tour Aviar (McPro). I love the puddle top. It feels a lot more shallow than a normal Aviar. The XT plastic is really nice & grippy. On that medium firmness similar to DC Jawbreaker.

I'll get a chance to use it on the course tomorrow.

I used to. I have since switched to Tanks mostly because I like the Thumtrac and I got a pile of them with my new stamp.
There is no reason that the AV3 can't perform as a main putter.

The rim shape and feel, for me, are bar none in the putter department. My favorite feeling putter but just lacked the glide for me to use outside of 20-25 feet except when I have a headwind. I consistently missed low too often. If I used it as my main putter, I'd need a straighter compliment for longer putts.

I Use the Glow NOVA for outside putts, glides well, flies straight and lands flat if i miss. . .it΄s just inside i have tryed the Aviar3 for fun, the KC Pro feels great but is a bit slick, might try the new XT

Go for it! It's really consistent with great grip. I don't know your putting style, but I've found that spin putting, for me, increases its range and the stability works really well for a slightly anhyzer style spin putt (a la Michael Johansen). I just am more consistent with the push putt sadly...

I used my new XT Aviar3 as my main putter for 18 holes this past weekend. Felt great in my hand but was just too OS to use as a putter. Reminded of putting with my Pa1's (AV3 is a little less OS). It did work very well as a long approach disc. The lack of glide was really noticeable which helped it stick to the ground when I approached.

I'm sticking with my Roaches & hoping DC finally develops a KC Pro type option.

I'm not using the Av3 as my main putter... but I easily could. It feels good for putting, and better for putting than for throwing. If I putted with a disc more (over)stable than the Marshal, the Av3 would be a strong candidate for my bag.
