The first few lines of heelboycraig's review of Carson-Newman:

Pros
-Carson Newman is a pleasant small-town college. You can take a nice stroll through campus. And if you're lucky, you may even find some of the holes.
-There are nine baskets. Each one is in pretty good shape.
-You get to walk by many nice campus buildings. Six to be exact.
-You also cross two streets and walk under one crosswalk.

Thanks. I thought my review title was the best part of the review.

Clever review titles seem under appreciated.

Perhaps there should be a thread for classic review titles.

Personally having read a lot of Mr.butlertrons reviews (we've covered a lot of same area) I've always enjoyed his. but I always pm him to let him know when he cracks me up.

mr.butlertrons review title for Creola City Park (Mobile AL area)

Exception is the one pitch and putt as well on a tight fairway hole that forces either a sky shot or a minimum of 3 shots on hole 18.
The bolded is NOT a reason to knock down a course rating, IMHO.

What if the course sucks and it's still busy.

Speaking of heelboycraig, I just read his excellent review of Panther Creek (really looking forward to playing this course hopefully around the end of the month).

My favorite parts:

There is a hunting stand, (or worse) behind #6's basket. I had a slight thought of Wrong Turn when checking it out. Deep in the woods, an enclosed stand, nobody around to hear one scream.

Some people will not like this layout. It's physically grueling. First course I ever had to pause for a minute after only the fifth hole. (9 courses in 4 states in the previous day and a half may also been a factor).
You don't say?

I did not, just was under cons players that at like they are the only ones on the course and play as if they are the only player on the course even if you tell them others are on course too. I think Disc Golf has grown in the area that Shipwreck Cove is in since the local disc golfers have discovered the course and some still treat it like they are the only ones on the course. Nice baskets the Mach IV are, only one of the baskets is in a poor spot as was one of the Tee Markers missing like they had to change the hole to play safer from original marking, too close to the last basket and a water main.

Either it's the only option in 50 miles, there's a bunch of course baggers in the area, or they're all just morons
