Default Ion vs. Anode

This should strike up some debate. Anyways which disc do you guys prefer? I have both. Havent tried the Ion as much as the Anode but like them both a lot. Soft is better then Medium for putting I believe. I have 2 medium ion's and two medium anode's. I want to get a 1 soft disc for putting. So which is the better putter in your mind?

I like the medium Anodes a lot better than the medium Ions. Can't make a comparison quite yet with the softs vs. softs. The Anode is DEAD straight for me (when released flat) on both putts and drives. A couple times today, and a half dozen yesterday, I would have hit metal at least if my Anode would have faded a little more. I definitely prefer the soft Ion over mediums, and if the Anodes are anything like the Ions then it'll be soft Anodes hands down.

A lot of reviews with Ion comparison are being posted in the Anode thread.

From what i've read, there is little difference putting when inside 30 feet, grip and feel really being the biggest change. And for driving, the Anode can achieve the same lines as the Ion but with less finishing fade (as is my personal experience as well). The verdict is still out on how this will change with successive runs and the inclusion of soft plastic.

I still feel a little guilty, but I played in heavy wind today with only Anodes and a FR Ion in my bag and I didn't miss my medium Ions at all. I prefer to throw putter drives with a touch of hyzer and I prefer a beadless feel, so the Anode is simply a better fit for me. I think I'm going to trade in some of my Ions and replace them with Anodes. I'm really hoping I can get a soft Anode that flies like my FR Ion because I only have one and I'd like to retire it, but I depend heavily on it for finesse approaches.

I have a feeling a low 160s soft would be a lot like a FR. We need to put some demand on light weight MVP discs and hopefully it'll work like everyone and the Glow Champ Gators.

I prefer my Ion over my anode all day.
But I'm sure that's got a lot to do with the fact that I like a stiff putter as much as I like a kick in the balls

I was wanting a lightweight Axis but the weight doesn't seem to really effect my distance with MVP mid-range wise. I have a 175 Axis and can keep up with my 160ishg Buzzz's..
