Ribbon effect. That rainbow one was a very short ribbon, poured a pool of resin leftover from a vikings blank (purple/gold) on a cutting board and let it cure then cut into strips. I'm going to try some longer ribbons. Black and red.

My cousin just gave me his wood lathe yesterday to look after/use as I please. I've done a fair amount of woodworking, but never messed with a lathe.

I'm really looking forward to messing around with some stuff like this. You've inspired me with these newer batches of resin blends. The pine cones especially look incredible.

Watch some YouTube vids if you haven't already. Especially on safety. Lathes can mess you up really quick if you aren't using proper technique or if you don't have your tool rest set properly..
