Default Missy Gannon 2019 WITB

A bit long, but I like a lot of the discs she's rockin'. And as ever: DG is love, DG is life, be Dynamic! ...

I find it interesting that most pro says you should keep a simple bag with few moulds, yet most of the "in-the-bags" holds quite a few moulds.

Missy have 13 moulds, Zoe had 17, Paige P is the one of the latest DD ITB that did not have that many moulds, she only have 11

Even someone like Emac that always talks about a simple bag is carrying 13 moulds.

Agreed. As some on these boards have said, sometimes these pros are touting discs that they don't really carry, possibly at their benefactor's request. And then some have fewer molds, but many discs per mold, so they might have 5 molds but 20 discs.

I'd say most of them are carrying any discs there is a slight possibility they might throw on any given course. From what I've seen it's pretty easy to see which molds they rely on, as they typically carry multiples and talk about them the most. I'd wager any discs they have 1 of in the bag are niche utility discs or in there at request of sponsors.

I think most of us rely on a few moulds. . but to have ONLY those moulds in the bag can get us into trouble.

I think +90% of all my throws is with 6 moulds.. but i have 11 moulds in the bag.
I really dont want to throw those very US or OS moulds. . but i have a habit of geting myself into bad spots where those kind of discs is my only choice

. . and then we have the wind

Exactly. I tend to rely on 3 drivers, 2 mids, and 1-2 putters in basically any given round. I don't throw a ton of rollers, but I carry a roller disc. The comet is a specialty disc for me that I use for finesse forehands and other turning shots. I don't typically throw a mantis, but do when I need a sharper turn or to flip over from a hyzer where an undertaker might not hold the line. But, I wouldn't want to not have those discs in the bag unless I was purposely carrying a lighter loadout.
