I can see it for tee times, but somehow, it just wouldn't feel right for a shotgun start.

I would only do it if I can walk up to Iggy and the Stooges "Search and Destroy".

It would be child's play for anyone under 30 these days. If I can do it, so can you.

I am the AV Nerd in training.

I work in Corporate Event Management and our AV Manager has taught me quite a bit over the years and it's very valuable to know.

But you're right, someone's 12 year old should be able to handle this sort of thing.

Ehhhh I donno...The technical part yes anyone can do but I think where the challenge with this would be in the organizational part. Just making sure you have the right tune for the card that is walking up is going to be an annoying exercise in tedium.

I have to say, this thread has made me laugh more than most recently.

Are we seriously at a point in this sport
where we need walk up music? Are the egos that fragile?

Do we all need big jacked up trucks with nuts hanging off hitch too?

Do we need our egos stroked or what?

I kinda of liked this sport because it was regular folks out enjoying the afternoon in the sun and fresh air.

Walk up music would just be plain annoying.

wtf dude...No...thats not what this is about. I'll tell you why I started this thread: Its because some of my club members thought it sounded like a good idea and make the tourney experience more enjoyable. Nothing more nothing less. If you want to read more into it than that and put words into peoples mouths go for it.

Sorry, wasn't coming at you, didn't mean it that way.

My apologies if it seemed like an attack. I will show myself to the door

I have come to realized, I am stressed about something entirely different, not related to disc golf and I jumped in on this conversation. Didn't realize my stress in another area of life was causing me to be such a jerk.

My apologies to the OP and to each person who had to read the crap I can't edit.

I'm sorry

Thanks for understanding.

By the way, I think I read you are up Madeline Bertrand way if I'm not mistaken?

I first discovered Disc Golf at that course. Back then (not sure about now) it was a mixed use park. I was mtn biking with friends when I saw some guys throwing frisbees in the woods. Got off the bike and started learning about disc golf.

Loved it ever since
