I played a safari round at Rockland today. From the red tees I played to the next hole’s basket. I started on 18’s tee to 1’s basket, 2’s tee to 3’s basket, etc. It was a pretty ridiculous layout but I got to throw a lot of shots that I don’t usually get to out there. It was an exercise in scrambling. I got to throw most of the discs I carry. I didn’t throw my most overstable Omega, my new Mako3, my newer Thunderbird or my most overstable wraith.

The scores:
7,5,6,5,3,4,4,4,6,5,3,5,5,4,5,5,4,5=85

I don’t know what par for the course was...

I was happy to score under 90. I can say that I am the current record holder for this layout.

I played the Rockland blues this afternoon.

3,4,3,4,3,3,4,2,2,2,3,3,3,3,4,4,4,3=57

I shouldn’t be disappointed with a 57 but the 4’s on 15, 16, and 17 bummed me out.

Apple Valley 2022 WVTI squad is almost set. We have 8 of 9 players confirmed. I’ve been repping since 2016 and will be there again this year!
