Default Disc Flight Charts

Just wondering if anyone can tell me why certain websites that offer flight charts can differ from site to site? As an example, I'll use a the Hysteria from Discmania. According to Discmania's website, the disc has a turn of 0 and a fade of 2. However, Joe's Universal Flight Chart from GottaGoGottaThrow has the turn and fade at -0.5 and 3.5. Which is right? This is not the only disc that I have noticed this for also. What is the most accurate site for disc flight ratings?

All flight charts are subjective interpretations. There is no standard set of measurements. There is no set testing system. Even if it was standardized and made as scientific and empirical as possible, disc flight will always be specific to the individual.

As much as I hate to agree with jsun3k, he does a good job of specifying why there are no compatible inter-company flight measurements. Joe's is really the best bet as far as a universal application is concerned (until I come up with something different...bwah ah ahhhh!).

Damn, I thought this was gonna be a place where I could come and ask questions about disc golf without getting treated like I'm stupid. Don't really need the sarcasm. But if that's what you're into (sarcasm) then here goes: Oh I'm SOOO sorry I don't know EVERYTING about disc golf. (End sarcasm)
You know, it's the disc golfers on these threads that always reply with smart ass answers that give good people that play a bad rap. You are the type of golfers that probably play by yourself all the time because no one wants to play with your know-it-all ass! I was just asking a question because I didn't know something. So if you get a kick out of making people feel stupid on a website thread about disc golf, then fine, I don't wanna take that away from you. It's probably all you have in your pathetic life. I'm out.

By the way, that rant was directed towards craftsman. Thanks to those that DID in fact offer useful insights.

Shrug it off. It happens everywhere. Sometimes you have to sift through the poo to find the gem.

I don't believe his comments were even aimed at you.
To me it sounded like the frustration we all have trying to make sense of these (ficticous?) numbers the manufacturers give us.
