These are geared towards the "starter pack" players & provides an easy entry to the game for most folks. I believe most of these packs are fairly neutral flying, so it they should be easy for new players to pick up.

So, IMO, these are geared towards the new players, and folks who like the baseline, neutral plastic.

I don't think we're going to see these in many "tournament player's" bags.

They're new 500 series plastic is pretty sweet and has the swirleys people go gaga over these days. So, I think those will be pretty sweet. I felt the X3? in this new 500? plastic and it felt great!

EDIT: Either way, Prodigy is really stepping up. I think they are prime for a breakout season this year in terms of popularity of their players, new molds, and plastics, as well as helping introduce the game to new players.

I agree these are discs in less expensive plastics for starter packs and beginning players, not unlike Trilogy introducing Prime/Origio plastic as a less expensive alternative to their other plastics. And I agree that it's a good idea for Prodigy to do, especially if they want to seriously compete with the other Brands (again). Here's hoping it works for them.

I think Prodigy is picking up where DD left off, but without the cult-ish feel. They are taking a grassroots growth approach with the expectation that these new players will long-remember they started with Prodigy. I think its good for the game and their business. Win/win!

Well I could see from pictures on # 2 post that the Putter and midrange could end up in players Bags of those who play tournaments. The midrange especially for those players that like the cycling for midrange discs. The putter sure for players that do want a baseline plastic for putting and not the next up from baseline type putter from Prodigy.

It's pretty nice, it's about a 1.2 rim, which is a little less wide than the D series in the normal line up, but wider than a Wraith. It's a thinner driver, but not as thin as the X series.

Flies nice, with a little bit of turn and a not harsh fade, gets good distance.

Good deal. I just added one to my most recent plastic purchase. I throw about 350 and am hoping for a overall straight flight.
