The way you grip a disc will change the way it feels.

It's a lid, pretty much like any frisbee, it's just got a square shoulder. If you're trying to grip it on the rim it'll likely be uncomfortable. If you're using a fan grip, it's less likely that the shape of the rim will even matter too much.

I'm guilty of this with MVP putters, I can't stand them when I grip the rim to drive them.. if I'm fan gripping them, they're fine. (so I just throw the disc they copied anyway )

You don't need to like how every disc feels either, but being new.. grip can make a huge difference that might just be surprising.

With them being so new though, this probably isn't the right disc for them at this time. I know my love for the mold wasn't immediate. No different than the Comet.
