If say the DGPT seriously considered something like this after testing the concept, not just putting stats but how it looks on camera along with player and viewer feedback, I presume they would implement it in the tour year following testing with the agreement of their manufacturer/sponsors so they had time to add or tweak molds and players had the off season to practice.

If it wasn't a problem then they wouldn't be raising baskets. We wouldn't be seeing 18 under par rounds. DGPT wouldn't write up a summary about the issue.

TD's wouldn't place that raised basket 3 feet from OB. Pro's wouldn't hit every putt in a 3-4 round tournament either.

Of the DGPT wants it, I'm sure they'll be all over it. Running events on tiny baskets in 2021.

Interesting. I just watched the first half of the ESPN2 broadcast of the DGPT Championships, and you know what. I was pretty impressed. I don't watch a ton of disc golf, but it was well presented and entertaining. A couple things that were painfully evident were:

1. In no way was the putting too easy or boring to watch.
2. Raised baskets presented an additional challenge and certainly did not seem out of place (or gimmicky)
3. Trees in the fairway offered a terrific challenge and really showcased the positive difference between the boring game of golf and ours.

I think this is CLEAR demonstration that there is NO problem and a 28 million dollar, small basket solution, is nothing more than the folly of an internet troll.

I don't think that course had trees in the fairway. A fairway isn't 20 feet wide, it's 6 feet.

You need to buy new baskets when the old ones wear out.

Maybe you missed where the broadcast proved, putting if freaking hard, trees add super excitement and raised baskets created fantastic scoring separation and tremendous drama.
