Been really focusing on form; reach back, footwork, and follow through. As such, I have been getting some good connections on my drives. As a result, I find the trespass, even freshys, have a tendency to flip.
I like them. But i may be reaching a point where I could use a little bit more stable (and maybe faster) distance driver. Hmm... Sponsored Links

Idk if I can do destroyer again after throwing Trespasses. Every time I hold/throw one they just feel so deep. Hand feel plays a big part in disc selection for me. As such, a train of thought is: - add Vultures for the control - go Defender/(& Something still a little more manageable for not top tier arm speed: Kong? Outlaw? Raider?) for distance. |

Yup, same basic philosophy. For my power and arm speed, I think a positive fade of 2 is where my sweet/control slot is, so I throw:
TeeBirds 7,5,0,2 Orcs: 10,4,-1,3 Destroyers: 12,5,-1,3 I carry 2-3 of each mold in different stabilities, which covers pretty much every shot over 325' I like the vulture for your control/ fairway distance. I also tried this mold and found it to be very similar to my old Orcs. Since I've been collecting Orcs for the last decade I just stuck with that mold. During my Trespass/Enforcer trials, I also tried a Defender. I found that the rim was too wide for my liking, which was fine because Speed 13 is probably too much disc for me... |

Zones are great. Been using my Zone a bit more for most approaches lately. And it hasn’t disappointed.
Get one if you don’t have one. |

Got to get the DIY cart out this passed weekend. Played Enger with a buddy who was visiting (with a few others). Played some doubles and did some gambling. Was a great time! Very windy, so made the ball golf DG course challenging. But, got to load up the cart with a bunch of discs! Granted I only threw 2/3 of them, maybe..
![]() Trespass (4) - Lucid-X, Lucid, Fuzion x2 Enforcer (2) - Biofuzion x2 Undertaker (4) - FRZ x2, Z, ESP Felon (2) - Lucid x2 Heat (2) - Z x2 Truth (4) - Lucid x4 Verdict (2) - Lucid x2 Zone (2) - ESP x2 Judge (4) - Lucid x2, Prime x2 Cart held up really well. Found out a few things I need to modify to made it a little more comfortable. Playing in the St. Paul Classic this coming weekend. Hoping to get to the course Friday or early Saturday to check it out (never been). I believe it is a new 18 hole set up. I'll wheel the cart, if able. Otherwise Grip-B. Cheers! |

Well, the tourney this passed weekend went very poorly. I couldn't shake the nervous/shaky feeling all day. Putting suffered. Drives were off.
The course was very well manicured/maintained, but it was very short and very scoreable and I played it blind. I did not capitalize. Shot two sub-900 rounds... Hope they don't effect my rating too bad. Think I am going to just focus on tourneys closer to home on courses I am a little more familiar with. Bag was mostly the same, but I bagged Envies instead of Tombs. Probably going back to Tombs. Not as OS. Idk. /end sad story It's finally nice out! |

Another tourney coming on Saturday: Northern Lights Experience. Not many people signed up, atm... oh well. Fairly wooded course. Lots of elevation and it's supposed to be warm, so we are going with a C-Grip set up.
Couple notes: I can't get comfortable with the Tomb. It might be the plastic (the C-blend grip is odd, S-blend is too soft). So, gunna give Firm Envies a go for throwing putters. I am sticking with Trespass' for distance. Comfortable, I have a bunch that span stabilities, and fast enough. Anyway, Bag (and Mika)... ![]() Judge - 2 Prime for putting. One is pretty beat, very straight. The other still has a fade. Envy - E-Firm for approaches and putter drives. Its pretty glidey and straight. Zone - ESP for approaches and putter drives. Its a zone. It is awesome. Verdict - 2 Lucid. One is very straight with good fade, other is overstable. Truth - 2 Lucid. One is very straight and true, other is beat and understable. Felon - 1 Lucid Metal flake, fresh and overstable. Other is worn Lucid, and is straighter. Undertaker - 1 FR Z, which has a good fade to it. Other is Z, very straight and reliable. Heat - Z, for understable and hyzer flip stuff. Enforcer - Bio, for overstable distance, wind fighting stuff. Trespass - Lucid-X is overstable, Lucid is straight to fade, and Fuzions are straight and flippy.
