Default High speed max distance driver suggestions

Hi all,
I am looking for some suggestions for my max distance driver. I currently have a Quasar (about 172g.) and I love the flight on it, but the rim is huge. I am thinking of going down a speed or two, as I have smaller hands and warp speed just doesn't fit well. Here is what I was thinking...

Possibly grabbing some Pro destroyers and sailing with those. The rim is a bit more comfortable and I can get them "up to speed" easier. I would carry two or three in different stages or wear yatta yatta

Thought number two was having some Star Wraiths. I know they can be a bit beefy, which is preferable but I don't necessarily want a meathook. I also do not want it to be too flippy. It is hard for me to try lots of plastic on a college budget at a school where I am the seemingly only one that plays DG.

I was also considering a Surge. I figure it is similar to a Wraith.

Essentially I am wondering how the plastic for Wraiths and Destroyers effect their stability.

For reference I usually put my Quasar out to 400 (avg.) with a flat release. I have thrown my JLSs that far with some height and turn.

Champ Wraith 166-169 range. Slight dome, pre flight numbers. Easy to come by, not any more expensive. Thank me later.

Pro wraiths are also nice, although the lighter champs also have a ton of glide. I have both in my bag though .

Anthony, what's wrong with the flow you were crushing at flyboy? To answer your question, Connor's right. A wraith in a lighter weight will bomb. You get a stable one and beat it in a little and they go.

Wraith, Sword, Krait, or Surge would all be viable choices; each being around 11 speed with slightly different flight patterns. The Archon is also an interesting disc, though it may not have the HSS you are after. The Destroyer isn't much of a step down from the Quasar in terms of speed or rim width.
