Agreed. I want that too.

I asked MVP Steve about the possibility of running Electron Proxys and he told me it was impossible with the current setup. A new mold would need to be machined. Proxy isn't their best selling disc so there isn't huge motivation to buy an expensive tool steel injection mold ($10k+).

Other people have recommended MVP and non-MVP alternatives but none of them are true replacements for how I imagine an Electron Proxy would fly.

Having said that, the Electron Pilots are really nice.

Have you tried the Pilot? Fairly similar feel and flight. The Pilot's round nose is a bit thicker before it drops into the bevel than the Proxy's but they are both more of a rounded nose than the Atom/Envy. Infinite's numbers have the Pilot as a speed 2, Proxy is listed as a 3 and the Pilot has .5 more fade but it wont take long with the electron for it to become a neutral flyer. Pilot tends to have more glide in the Electron vs a premium Proxy as you would expect.

Its a very good putting putter.

I'm glad they are finally coming out with it in Electron plastic. Sadly, I've moved on to the Pilot and have no desire to try it. I need less confusion, not more.

The Proxy is not an understable putter. It's stable. I believe MVP's understable putter is called the Spin.

Ditto. I'm a big fan of throwing putters, so naturally I love the Envy and Proxy. But they just don't power down all that well for me, because they are fairly fast/stable flyers for a putter mold. The same traits that make them the greatest driving putters is what makes them mediocre touch/approach discs. It's possible that beating an Electron Proxy up could remedy that. I don't plan on finding out though, because I've moved on to cycling Judges (which are slower and have GREAT baseline plastic options) and added a Berg for approach duties. I do carry a Neutron Proxy periodically if I'm playing a tight wooded course, but it is no longer a core mold in my bag.

I just seen the -1 turn and assumed the proxy was a US throwing putter
