My backup Jawbreaker (thrown around the yard a fair amount with maybe one or two light tree hits) also already has a wavy warped rim.

So IMO they shouldn't bother with a production run Jawbreaker Comet -- the durability stinks. Still flies okay for now . . . but I'll probably try to find something else to take its place because I don't like the feel/look of the warped disc. I did love the feel and flight of the Jawbreaker when it was brand new . . .

It's one thing the current Comet line lacks . . . a good grippy Comet . . . wish they would merge with Innova and offer a Gstar Comet. I'd be in heaven.
Have you tried the big z comet? To me they are really grippy but that may just be me.

IDK about that. I'd buy some for sure.
But I'd be more excited by Innova XT Comets or Gateway Sur-Grip Comets.

Not sure if he has them still available, but Discraft at least stamped some Z Comets for him to sell. I bought one from him earlier this year. The stamp says "I solemnly swear to play boring golf" then has an outline of Maryland and "Andrew Fish #(Whatever his PDGA number is)".

Reach out to him on social media and see if he has any left.

I feel like the comet is such a large-diameter thin-rim disc that a GStar type plastic would be so floppy it would feel like trying to throw a pancake.

But yes a Sure-Grip comet would be $$$

Fair! Nice review, I can see how a domey Disc such as the comet would have an easier time warping as opposed to a more compact putter.

Sounds like I’ll just stick to the ESP comets then!

I do agree on your gstar sentiment. I love that plastic blend. I’d love to see a special run of ESP FLX comets made up. I think it would be dreamy in that blend.

Maybe. But it would stiffen up in the winter. And it might nestle better on scary hardpack greens. IDK if I would like G* Comet better than ESP but I sure would have fun auditioning it

*hiding a pile of different blend Wizards behind back*

I can certainly sympathize with finding a mold you like and wanting it in ALL THE PLASTICS!

Sign me up for a G* Comet. In the same blend as the Euro Open Roc3s.

Well flame me for this.. Here.. But TP plastic Tursas.. When I want a little strange that's what I sneak around with behind my Comets back.

I could get behind a softer ESP run.. I really like my first run LE ESP, maybe it's all the love on it that makes it so soft
