Default Paige Pierce Still Prodigy?

The Prodigy page on Facebook posted a weekend review with their sponsored players finishes in some tournaments. Included was The Majestic, with Paige Pierce finishing in 7th. I thought her and Prodigy had a falling out? What happened?

Seems to be a very strange partnership for sure. I think she is still under contract so Prodigy feels ok about listing her as a sponsored player but Paige doesn't do anything to rep the brand.

Last 20 pages have plenty of debates about it.

Bottom line, she is most definitely switching sponsors as soon as her current contract is up, (the Dynamic with her good friend EMac) but for now, she's stuck with Prodigy (even though she's not using their bag, only throws 2 Prodigy molds, and refuses to wear any Prodigy logo apparel) Both sides have handled the situation very poorly and soured the name of both the company and the pro.

I don't get why they don't just release her, it would look a lot better than what we're witnessing now

I agree. What's the point.

Given the roll out of players from the Prodigy lable, I suspect they are doing something wrong. Hard to say what. Paige has been nothing but professional, not a peep. Which is why everyone speculates here. It seems to have impacted her game, although that may just be that CA has cranked up her game.

I'd kill to look at their contract though, if it exists. It seems to me it would be in her best interests to have played ball by their rules, given where she is now. Tis really hard to see how this benefits anyone.

The only possibility I do see is there was a negotiation over assets, pay etc. and when they didn't step up she said, that is fine, I'm doing the minimum my contract requires. That is, their contract allows her to do what she is doing so she does. It is in the best interest of players to support their brand so they do, but Prodigy may not have been specific about wearing clothes, how many discs she had to use etc. So she's gone to minimal support.

Their contract may stipulate what a player can say in public. If they release her she might say something they don't want said. Bad juju man.

I would kill to look at some of these players contracts. They are all so secretive...

She's good and all, but I don't think I'd consider her a prodigy.
