Default Speed 5 Latitude 64 discs

Trident (driver)
Core(mid)
Fuse (mid)

All listed at 5speed.

I have a Core and a Fuse. Trident is on its way. I bought that for shorter hard fading/skippy drives. Would you say the Trident and Fuse are the same speed?

hell no bud, the trident is a good clip faster, very overstable. fuse is fairly understable and slow. you'll see when you get it, trident has a total fairway driver rim instead of the fuse's mid range one.

Rocs are Speed 4 and I would classify my GL Fuse as being Similar. Not sure about Trident I haven't tried it yet. But on the same token my GL Flow feels more like a 10 then an 11 for me so when comparing to other companies I think Lat 64 might be +1. As far as the rating for Trident, Core, and Fuse I would imagine if they are all listed the same they fly the same speed, though possibly different then say a 5 Speed Innova disc. Sorry I'm tired and rambling.

exactly what i figured. thanks.

was just wondering, cause they are labeled same speed and one is a driver

i currently use the XXX for thumbers, anyone use the Trident for overhand shots at all? Shorter more accurate ones?

Yes...Exactly what you said. The Trident flies shorter and straighter on a thumber than the XXX. I found it quite awkward in the hand though. The Trident is definitely a driver...When Dan Beto tested it with Blake for Joe's flight chart he was throwing it like 500'.

500' with a Trident!! Holy crap. That is one slow, glideless platelike disc. That would be like shot putting a bowling ball 300'.

Trident is an interesting disc. I actually used it in place of my gazelle a few times. It's very stubby wing and blunt edge makes it impervious to wind. If I were to use one today it would be in place of a banshee.

Trident is nothing like the fuse or core in any way. I would compare it to an extremly overstable banshee, for lack of a better comparrison. It is a meat hook of a fairway driver, not a mid range and not the same speed as the mids. The wide edge makes it roll like crazy if it lands on the rim. I have had shots hit 2 feet from the basket and then the disc rolls over 20 feet away.

xXx is similar to the trident wrt its long flight ability.. i love my xXx for short, low power skip hyzers - but i can also bomb that thing out past 330 if need be.

One other thing to note about the trident. It may have a fairway sized rim, and it may be fast, but its distance potential is in the category of mids. I threw it alongside my drone and found that I got maybe 5-10 more, but not much. The flights were also fairly similar, but the trident got there a hell of a lot faster and cut left a bit harder.
