The wasps are for sure more overstable than Rocs. Gonna take a while to beat one into straight flying

Yes I'd agree. But they don't become flippy like Rocs. They keep very true for a LONG time.
Find a flat top one... Those are MONEY.

Try a Compass, the mold is as close to a ROC as I have seen, was made for Ricky Wysocki when he was on Latitude 64 team and wanted a ROC like disc. I think the mold is made in plastics non premium that can be cycled? Retro?

I'm really suprised. I dont know much about discraft molds, but I thought for sure that it would be in a base plastic. I thought it was a popular mold.

That looks like a good fit size wise and it does come in retro plastic which is a plus, but it's not as stable out of the box as a roc, so I'd guess they'd end up really flippy quickly.

I'm liking the idea of a bard for this, but its definitely a faster disc than a roc.

Well then Just get premium plastics/premium Recycled and it is a ROC.

Ya know, you just might be on to something here lol. Seriously though, thanks for the input.

I'll stop by the local shop and feel a wasp, compass, and bard to see how I like them provided they're in stock. Too bad they dont carry legacy because the ghost looks like a close one as well.

You can not replace the Roc...

You can try to find something that flies similar...

You can find something that feels similar...

But

You can not replace the Roc

You can certainly replace a Roc, with something better! (Wasp)
Took my Rocs out a few years ago and never looked back. I have so much more trust in the Wasps.
A stable Z Comet will fly and feel quite close to a Roc as well (but better).

Check out the Emac Truth too. I think that's closer to a roc than a Compass. Should be able to get those in every plastic type.

But I still say a Wasp 😁
