This course more than almost any other tests your mental game as much as the physical. Sometimes it doesn't matter how good a player you are, you're going to encounter a hole that just kicks the crap out of you. It's how you react to that that is the real test. You can't card a bogey or a double bogey and just attack the next hole with the goal of making up the lost strokes right off, as tempting as that might be.

Over-aggressive play that doesn't pan out will explode your score more on this course than many others.

No birdies yet on the gimmicky double mando hole. Plenty of 4s and 5s tho.

Any sort of bounty on that? There used to be a bounty for hitting an ace on that one.

Hole 10 is listed at 549, but I'm almost positive that distance is measured along the fairway. In other words, it's measured based on players playing up the left side and going across on throw #2. The caddy book shows the direct line from tee to basket as 474 feet. It's not really a throw that requires players like McBeth to throw beyond their means.
