Savants are almost exactly like Thunderbirds. I have no clue why Innova even bothered making both molds.

IMO the Savant is a little clunkier and shorter than the Thunderbird.

I'm finding that out as well. I was hoping the Savant would be a less stable Orc, but I'd like to try some Pro Thunderbirds now. Champ is far too stable for what I'm looking for.

Get yourself a Pro Thunderbird baby - it's by far my favorite disc off-the-shelf. Laser beams to 350' with predictable fade, FH and BH. I have 4 now and rotate between them every round to maximize their longevity.

My Star Savant has more turn than my Pro Thunderbirds, and similar distance. Those Thundervants are cute - while I don't need another Star Thundy (mine's super beefy), I'll probably pick one up.

I've only thrown 1 Savant, but for me it was slower and beefier than an Orc. Shorter too. If you want a less stable Orc, try a Beast X.

I believe I read that the newest Champ Beasts are X, and everything else is L. Is that still correct?

I have an old PFN Champ Beast, and a newer DX Beast, but all they do is flip and crash, so I'm pretty sure I have L molds. I've been kind of gun-shy on buying any more.

Only the new disc in that Inncolor looks good The Lion. This is most likely due to the mold not being in any other stamp.

Yep with most of the new stuff this year in 2019 I agree. Even end of 2018 the Ricky Destroyer was the new L mold. The Champion in late 2018 to early 2019 had the micro bubbles the way blizzard did but making the disc more OS then it should be, basically an Xcalibur type disc. This year 2019 Pro at one point got floppy not in a good way almost soft like old Pro used for the Rhyno in the 2000's, Okay or Good for putting depending on how you like the plastic. Only new truly good discs molds are the Putter that came out this year to be a replacement for the Discmania disc that the players used that is only a Tour series Nate Sexton Firefly in a Nexus/XT plastic and only god due to being a previous mold. Then that Lion looks interesting being the mold is a less OS version of the ROC that is a mini V mold of the ROC. Gator 3 top will be okay as Innova Has the MF that does the same as Gator 3 top and the old FAF Gators in that the Gator 3 will have less glide, same thing is for the MF in full production. I suppose finding a bunch of old DX Aero in the warehouse in 2019 was a good thing as those are now in the OOP side of the Innova Disc Golf Pro Shop for those who want an Aero specifically and not a very similar disc instead like the Dart or a Rubber Putter.
