Another update..

The cart sat in the basement untouched for a while (as I debated making a new/better one or just getting a delta...). But I took it out to a course last weekend and it worked well. So I prepped it for a tourney this weekend.

Added a handle (PVC screwed into the top and wrapped in tape; it's pretty secure), the putter pouch (holds 4), the cup holder (taken off of an old bike and stretched out to fit the powerade bottle. Powerade is my drink of choice for tourneys, so that was important), and added an umbrella holder (supposed to get rain on Saturday, so it was necessary, albeit the add-on is pretty temporary, for now).

Haven't gotten around to painting it yet, but it's not my biggest priority, as I'd like to confirm it functions before investing too much more time.

Still might choose to make a better one or just save for a delta...

Cheers!

I saw the guy who built one out of 80/20 T-Slot Aluminum, but has anyone used Speed-Rail fittings? https://www.industrialmetalsupply.co...ail-fittings#1

Was thinking of slapping something like this together (not a welder) and drew something up using about 15 different fittings.

Maybe even make a third wheel design like a compact Knee-Rover:

Right? I'm jelly of that guys welding equipment.

If I had money to burn I'd just buy a Kneerover and convert it. I play on a course with plenty of slope: https://www.instagram.com/p/ByJK69fFMAQ/

Default Homemade cart

Wheels and bottom frame from a Baby Jogger, handle from a golf pull cart, and the "box" is made with wood with a faux leather covering. Balances and rolls very well. Still need to add cup holder, towel ring and a couple of disc dividers and maybe a putter pouch. Deep storage section will hold a small bag cooler in addition to umbrella towels, etc.
