Received my Hunters today. 173g and 172g. The plastic isn't tacky, but has a great feel. The Protoge is stiff, but does have a little give and the gravity is as stiff as classic blend. Included are Comparison pics to a warden and a warlock. White discs are hunters, blue is warlock, red is warden. I prefer max weight putters, but I am going to take these out and give them a full couple rounds treatment.

I threw both the Protoge and the Gravity today. I didn't like these as much as my wardens for putting, but the Hunter makes a beautiful putter for driving and approaching. My effort level was low and the results were high. Whatever angle you put the disc on, it would hold that line and follow it through start to finish. for me, I will end up getting one in icon plastic and use it as a driving and approach putter. My flight ratings for this disc are 3|4|0|0 as the glide is insane.

So after 1 day with the Hunters, I am sold. Icon for drives and approaches, protege for putting. I was using 2 white 172s and rotating turns with each putt. Did not miss in the circle over 2 rounds, and hit a couple bigger jump putts from about 50-60. The putts from circles edge to about 45' that I missed, were either high or low (but dead center). No left/right misses. This thing is legit.

Main thing for me was the glide it helps a ton with the amount of effort required, i'd like a little more fade for what im used to but its easy to adjust to and im making more putts (and more metal/chain hits) from farther out than i was with the clutch so its in the bag for sure till i get a chance to try some Prowlers.

I saw some of these at La Mirada last week. They looked like Discraft APX.

I instantly thought Aviar PnA. I couldn't believe how neutral and glidey these are, even at lower power. Definitely giving them a trial run. Now if only DGBM would send me the Icon and purple Protege they left out of my box.

To me, they are most similar to PnAs. When I Played I had some pretty good winds and I very little putted on even ground. Putting wise my mechanics were off horribly, so I am going to give these another chance. Like I said though, these make excellent driving putters. I was getting these out over 250ft. with an almost hilarious minimum effort. I also did make a couple step putts out over 50ft. For me, I have gotten so used to that very small bite the wardens have at the end of their flight that I was missing off right barely quite a bit. However, I get the feeling I can adjust. Did anyone who ordered from DGBM get max weight? Both mine were 172 and 173g

Anyone else think they feel like a 'Pure'. I think they do and that is a good thing...
