Default Z xtreme - i'm sold!

just got my hands on a first run z xtreme recently and can't stop throwing it. i actually like the feel of it in my hands more so than my XXX and firebird.

the flight is so predictable that i can't imagine why discraft would discontinue it. i'm sure they replaced it with something as good?

can discraft historians chime in on this and give me the rundown on this great disc?

tried a search and didn't come up with much at all...

also, i noticed some discraft pros who swear by it.

i'm really loving this disc. i also like the fact that the diameter is larger than the FB, as my large hands feel more comfortable around it. i just picked up a 174g dayglow yellow and all i can say is that i will be buying more as backups.

hey, i like your nike sig quote... we lived by that mindset in the military.

it's slower and smaller-rimmed than a predator, though are both overstable. i do not know why discraft scrapped it. i have one, but it's transparent and i really don't want to lose it. it fits snugly between a drone and whippet or xXx, great for when you need the biggest fade possible.

the extreme is much more overstable than the pred or most discs out there.

How does it compare to a reaper and drone? I have thrown a FLX drone, but never a Reaper or Xtreme. The obvious business answer is that the demand for the Xtreme was low.

It makes them look flippy, the Xtreme was discontinued due the fact that the average golfer simply couldn't throw it, no sales, no xtreme.
An amazing disc IMO and one of the easiest sidearm discs ever made.

Here's what Discraft Team member Robbie Bratten (who has a cannon) has to say about it.

The Xtreme is a pig: it's the most overstable disc ever (and was discontinued because most players couldn't use it as a result). The Xtreme is my crutch, my go to, my get me out of trouble, my 350 foot and in hyzer chip disc. Super overstable, comparable to nothing! All it knows is to go left, and that's it job.

And for all you Xtreme hunters last time I checked Marshall street had more Z's than I could count.
