I lost my echo DD2 a few weeks ago and have greatly missed it! When comparing it to my s-line I found I was getting 30-50 more distance and had greater control with my release. I could work that thing for any distance shot type when throwing forehand by changing my angle of release. Great disc, may need to order another!

Speaking of destroyer type Discmania discs, I heard the first run DD's fly like destroyers. The white one is like an SDS and blue like an echo destroyer. I missed the boat on those!

Used my DD2 last week to go around trees and skip to the basket. 2 birds. Nothing else I have skips like my pop top C-Line DD2 so it stays in the bag. With that said, I do not use it for any other shots.

You're referring to the 2nd run S-LINE DD's. They are still available on the Discmania Store

Has anyone else been amazed at how the Echo S-LINE DD2's fly?

When I ordered mine I asked for the most OS molding possible and they didn't disappoint. My echo star DD2s fly like a new champ destroyer with twice as much glide haha love them. Cannot wait until the beat in to be rediculoisly long.

The s-line DD2's I've had the experience of throwing don't go as far as some distance drivers but they are supremely workable. It doesn't flip or fade as much or as quickly as most discs, so thrown anny it'll hold for most of it's flight and fight out, thrown hyzer it flips up and will turn a little and fly like a destroyer or just have a nice, smooth long hyzer. Flat it turns 15-20 feet right and fades maybe a little more back left for me but generally will end up straight. The glide seems pretty standard with the production s-lines, so maybe I should try and Echo and see if i get a little more distance out of it.

Ok, I'm officially tempted to try one of these. Been a destroyer guy for a couple years now

I have so much Discmania on the way, including one of the Echo S-Lines. I'm hoping this thing will fly like my seasoned Destroyers with a little more distance. I've tried the C-Line before, but it was too overstable and didn't seem to glide much. Hopefully this will be a better compliment.

I just picked up a 172 c-line DD2 and like it so far. I've thrown it a handful of times next to my other warp speed drivers.

As far as other Innova discs go, it reminds me of a slightly longer Destroyer, with a tick less HSS.

Not quite as long as my Opto Havoc, and less turn. The Havoc is still my longest disc. The DD2 was a little longer than the Opto Halo for me. Stability wise it sits in-between the Halo and Havoc.

I need to get some serious field practice in with all of them and see which ones are the most consistent for me, but the DD2 is a serious contender. Also, I need to test it out in a headwind.

I have thrown the dd2 for a few years now. I throw it as my straight long disc. Really good for low tunnel shots, too, as it can handle a good amount of power. I throw C-Line.

For reference a Champ Boss is too much disc for me, and every Destroyer I have had has been too over stable for my purposes.

I do keep a 165ish pro-Boss for open bombs as I can get a smidge more range, probably 20 feet on average, maybe 30. I max out around 430-450 (450 if I really get it hooked up).

Durability on the C-Line dd2 is fantastic.

Playing a 3-3-3-6 round the other day with some friends...down 3 strokes. Guy throws OB, I hit the basket (385' away) with my trusty go-to C-line DD2.

Love it.
