It's not close to a River at all IMO. River is slower with less turn. Both have a huge amount of glide but I'd say the Heat is at least a 9 speed. I wouldn't be surprised to see 9,6,-2,4.

For the me it flies like a hatchet with much harder fade. That's just me.

It's a weird disc for me. It's an exaggerated Sidewinder.

However, point still stands it's nothing like a River.

odd, considering the '14 ace racer flew the same lines as both my gold river and s-line jackal. i suppose all the protos fly the same? no anomalies or discreptancies? (hint: read first 2 pages of thread)

Hint: I did read the thread. Even the domey ones fly nothing like a River. It's much faster and had a lot more fade.

Yes, I bag three different weight GL Rivers so I know what I'm talking about. If you think the heat is 7 speed you might be throwing a totally different disc.

concur, it's not a river. It's more like a Lat64 Vision... actually... it's pretty fricken close to a Gateway Apache.

I have four of them. All pink and all 168. One was flat and the rest have mild dome. None fly like a River. Not even the 161 GL River that is stupid flat.
