Originally I was disappointed to see this disc is looking like it'll be a turn/fade driver.
For the majority of my DG career I've preferred the Teeb, Roc, PD like straight to fade driver.

Now that I'm am title more seasoned and have started experimenting with some new drivers, I've found an overwhelming amount of holes that benefit from an eagle flight vs a Teebird. Being able to give the disc a little ANNY to produce an intentional flip only to have the LSS knife it back at the end really has produced some nice birdies. I've also found this type of disc to be more reliable I'm a headwind bc it'll turn as to be anticipated, but the enhanced LSS brings it back to the starting point more consistently than a disc that you HOPE will ride straight in the wind.

Long story short....I had little excitement for this disc just a few days ago but my tune has quickly changed. This could be a pretty uniquely desirable flight molded in delicious plastic.
It's a good time to be growing a DG company. So many good role models for the progression of a lineup.

jc, i agree with you on that, but i just hope its no more than a true -2 turn.. any more and it would just be a replacement for my Bandits.

Interesting that this isn't more hss, if those flight numbers are accurate. With a limited lineup and 3 9-speed discs, it seems like they're really trying to find the right setup for a very specific disc. Why not start with the mold and let them beat into Bandit / Mongoose type of flight? I'm still really liking my Bandits, but I've put a lot of work into figuring them out. The Nemesis seems like an even closer step toward being a Valkyrie-like disc or maybe an OLF.

according to this:

http://www.pdga.com/announcements/hu...sis-new-legacy

"The Hunter is designed to be a straight flyer with great glide. It will hold the line of release to the end of its flight. The Hunter will be a great putter especially for those putts outside the circle. This disc can be used for a short range drives that require accuracy. The Hunter will be a great complement to any short range game. Speed 2, Glide 3.5, Turn 0, Fade 0.

The Nemesis is a 9 speed driver with a maximum amount of glide that flies more like a distance driver. This disc has a slight high speed turn with a strong finish at the end. The Nemesis is designed for longer fairway shots and will fill the gap between the fairway and distance drivers." - by Legacy Discs

slight turn with strong finnish.. That's what i want

Honesty I secretly hope these will knock out my PDs, but based on what I have seen it isn't looking good.

I expect these to be like Rivals. Most will be great stable bombers, but finding that bookend beefcake that makes cycling work could be a little harder to do.

They will fly slightly different in all of their plastic blends and it will be easy to find some that fly like what you want. Just like Outlaws.

Looks more like it's an Orc, no wait, a Viking that flies like a longer Eagle. Yeah that's it.

I'm thinking Escape or Orc which is a good thing. -1.5 turn 3 Fade.
