I had a le crystal flx drone and it broke in really fast I mean really fast. It turned into an os buzz basically. Funny thing is the guy at the DDKC store said "oh this baby will last ya forever". He could not have been more wrong lol. I have since moved on to the titanium drone. As Cartman would say "BEEFCAKE!!"

And yes, they stay very overstable for ages.

If you are looking for something as stable as a NukeOS but not as fast, try the predator too. It's the most overstable fairway driver by Discraft ( as far as I know ) and flies much like the Innova Firebird.

Just get the firebird, the predator hurts ripping out of the hand and still isn't quite firebird stable.

I can confirm what Brad has said here. The FLX Drone rules!

Couldnt disagree more, the current firebirds coming out just hook and go left, with they are useful for that shot they are not as versitile as a predator, get more distance with a pred, cut rollers, thumbers, tommys, skip shots, sidearms. Oh how much better and how many more shots a pred can handle than a firebird.

Now on the drones, the 08 worlds drone, I wish I had 50 on backup, they feel different plastic wise than the current flx ones but those are good too. The 08 ones just dont break in. Craig639 has one that is absolutely tacoed to hell and is still crazy overstable after 5 years of use.

I have an FLX Drone that I've had for 4 years (I think, can't be sure exactly when I got it, but it's been a while) and it's still pretty overstable. I'm not sure if the plastic has changed since then.

If you want something REALLY overstable, get a Gateway Demon in HPP. It makes my Drone look like a Leopard.

I've never thrown a Drone, but I can confirm that this thread is not in the Equipment forum.

I picked up a Ti Drone last weekend. It has become a regular thrower already. Dependable and I can flick it hard without turning it over. Played in the rain today and it was a tough thrower but when it's dry its an awesome thrower.

LE Cryztal FLX Drone, high 170's (178 maybe?). Picked it up as loot at the Carolina Clash last year. Hasn't left my bag since (unless I am feeling positively Scandinavian and decide to throw the Lat64 bag, as I do on occasion). Great flick, utility workhorse, dial a spike hyzer in from 200-250 on a dime kinda disc. Much love.
